Organisations
that help families
A Kettering charity, Home-Start helps families with young children deal with whatever life throws at them. They support parents as they learn to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children. The benefits of the support include improved health and well-being and better family relationships. They often take families on day trips and can help with Christmas presents and other expenses that families face.
Youth Works Community College is an independent special school for learners aged 13 to 16 years with social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) difficulties. They also offer a range of counselling, therapeutic and support services to meet the needs of children, young people and adults. They are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. They reside at Keystone, the same building JHP use and are our best allies.
