This year’s summer fete is themed “Summer of Love” with a prize for best fancy dress! Our food court will be back in our front carpark with various food trucks including Good Polish food serving hot dogs, Cape Lekker serving smashed burgers, halloumi burgers and chicken wings, Taco lab with tacos and burritos and Malayia 57 serving rotis and dosas there will also be an ice cream van, candyfloss stand, and various vegetarian and vegan options.

DJOP1 will be spinning the summer tunes as always, with a 60s Summer of Love set. We’ll have local band The Distraction playing two sets including a bunch of well known covers songs. There will be haybales and tipis dotted around for an authentic Woodstock vibe. There will be a Pimm’s, cider and beer bar and a free bouncy castle for the kids, Youth Works will be running various free children’s stalls including temporary tattoos, facepainting, art and games. There’ll be a close-up magician wandering around the grounds to make you gasp in delight at his tricks; Travis from Illicit Skate School will be teaching kids how to skateboard on the new ramp in Keystone’s garden and there will be a mega raffle including the chance to win a 6 months gym membership, a “Discover your style” session by local stylist The Happy Stylist, a 1hr body massage, various hampers and the top prize of a brand new Meta Quest 2 VR headset worth £200 courtesy of Eve IT Ltd. Thanks to all those who have donated prizes. The café will be open as usual serving teas, coffees, and cakes. There will be card machines available but as always, cash is king, so please do bring coins and notes with you!
