Organisations for loneliness

Age UK

Love later life

Age UK are a fabulous charity both if you looking for help or to help. They run wonderful services and can help with financial matters and health and well being. They have a wonderful befriending service for those without many friends or family. See the Ways to help page

Similar to Age UK but not as "big". They do "befriending" in Kettering, unlike Age UK, so it's better in that sense. Befriending is when they partner you up with someone and they come and visit you perhaps once a week for a few hours and just chat and keep you company. You can also find a telephone buddy! It has a helpline and can help you in so many ways.
